Defintly was an update because I'm not the only person. what happened was Half Life 2.exe crashes and then when I restarted it was updating happened a good few people on my friends list. Hoping its only client dont want to be installing any patches, but nothing posted on garrysmod.com

My gmod hasent done any updates and the gmod update history on steam says the last update was released on 28th july. One of my friends was having an issue with the Half Life 2 exe crashing but nothing updated.

I have noticed that some times steam will redownload some files for it games for no reason.

Ok just looked at my server page and saw that there is a august patch on the server. Maby its just a server update then.

Yea now my ULX doesn't work and neither does my scoreboard. It must of been server sided but once again, fricking patches ruin everything.

Thats a common problem. Quit your client gmod and restart your server. Then join it again. I get it quite alot and that fixes it. Some times its just my client so all i need to to is restart gmod and dont have to restart the server.

The small client update which people have been recieveing must have been the latest class tables file so that you could connect to servers which where using the new update.
