I havent played Counter Strike Source since the update.

How is it affecting the game?

It hasn't actually taken effect yet AFAIK. It's not taking effect until October 11th.

Yes, but the prices are actually been recorded arent they?

I havent played in months so I won't know. I might check it out once its in effect.

Oh I see, sorry the way you worded: "How is it affecting the game?". Do you mean "How is it going to affect the game"?

I think it's Valve's attempt to even things up a little. By making the "whored" weapons more expensive it'll make people appreciate underused weapons, and thus make things more varied and even. But I can imagine die hard fans of "The old days" annoyed at it (especially after the rather interesting radar).

Their is a CVAR to turn this On or Off so dont worry..


What does worry me is will this be another update that will no doubt screw any server with mani running. :|

wel it is after this update for a while anyway. from what jal has said to me the person who does mani is going on a honeymoon during the time the update is released and so wont release a mani update till he is back. there are a few things on the mani site AFAIK jalada may have the link i think
