Team eXult - Team eXult
Introduction No stranger to gaming, we realize that companies such as yours get dozens even hundreds of sponsorship requests per day. Let’s be honest only a select few of those will be considered for sponsorship of those only 1 MAYBE 2 will become a reality. We can offer something 95% of others can’t, and that is a skilled new UK based lineup that is aiming to hit it's full potential, and promote your company in a way that other teams may not have the dedication to fulfill. Despite being a relatively new team, we have all the desire and ability needed to compete successfully at the higher tier of online gaming. We hope that our request maybe amongst those unique 1 or 2 that become a reality. We have instituted a solid five man roster with one player as backup, to ensure long term commitment and focussing on improving our teamwork even more. We have every intention of keeping ourselves in top condition, and hoping for success in every event we pursue. We have compiled a small amount of information to give your company a bit more insight into our team and what we may both require and offer. Who are we? Team eXult in its entirety has been together since September 2006. Comprised of gamers from a multitude of gaming backgrounds, we have always maintained a large interest from the community in the games we have been involved with as a result of our success in amateur ladders and cups. Our website features not only clan related news and events but we have the ability to add news regarding your company too, be it hardware, software, or general technological news. A considerable amount of time and effort goes into maintaining our clan website and will strive to provide the best and most accurate information possible on your new products, which are of interest to the gaming public. In preparation for 2007 and beyond we have put together a team consisting of very established and upcomming players. With exposure possible all over Europe, we are anxious to be able to attend and compete professionally and interact with tens of thousands of gamers worldwide. As you can imagine this gives us a unique stage to represent your company on. Members I would like to introduce you to our small but dedicated team, whom with your help, will improve to an even greater force than we are today. The lineup is as follows :- Esben 'corpH' Larsen Esben is 23 years old, lives in Denmark, and is our resident professional gamer. He is extremely dedicated to his gaming, and is a former Danish National Team member of the Soldier of Fortune 2 team and the Call of Duty national team. With hundreds of hours LAN experience under his belt, including a 12th place CPL finish at Oslo 2002, Esben is the frag power of eXult and a great team player. John 'Fatal' Howlett John is 18 years old, an Irish resident, and has establised himself as the cool, calm and collected member of the team. Fatal started with Counter-Strike 5 years ago, playing at LAN cafes in his local area. He is a great upcoming player who has established himself well within this lineup, and is set to improve even more in the future. Lee 'HippY' Robinson Lee is the the team's in-game caller, and also one of the founding members of eXult. At 22 years old, Lee has a well decorated gaming background, including appearences for the UK national team in Soldier of Fortune 2 and Trackmania Nations, in which he attended ESWC 2006 UK Qualifiers for. HippY is also in charge of developing tactics and the organisation of the team. Paul 'Law' Moss Paul, age 22, being the other founding member, is responsible for a large amount of the day-to-day running of the clan. Paul is from the UK, andd was an avid console gamer, with a lot of online experience before moving to the Counter-Strike scene. Law has been playing since 2004, and has developed a great awareness during games which helps everyone. He is our main sniper, and with his aim and dedication he is the backbone of the team. Craig 'Oats' McLeish Coming from the UK, despite being the youngest member of the team, about to turn 18, Craig is mature beyond his years, and brings with him an excellent aim, and is our strongest player when faced with a 1 v x situation. He has been playing CS:S since the start, and has played with both Law and Fatal for close to 3 years in his previous clan. David 'Ne$$' Ford David has joined as our backup member, for when one of the starting five are unavailable. He is 18, from Ireland, and has proven himself to be a dedicated member when called upon, and has earned himself a long gaming history, which includes the early beta stages of Counter-Strike. Competitions In our first few months, we have been able to compete in many different organised leagues and cups. We have entered ourselfs in to Enemydown, reaching top 20 out of nearly 300 teams, despite our short time in there. We also took part in, and won, the Clandle Counter Strike Source Spring Cup, winning £50 and a new website (under construction). In addition to this, we have entered ourselves in to numerous other leagues, making us as fully active and competitive as possible. A full list of the competitions and events we will be taking place in can be found down the page at 'Useful Links'. With the team playing to it's full potential, we will be gaining as much exposure for our team, which in turn means maximum exposure for our sponsors too. Goals Quite simply to compete and win at the highest levels, we take great pride in our ability and even greater pride in communicating and interacting in our respective communities. We have also been a part of numerous independent tournaments. Our primary focus is to obtain sponsorship in the areas of game server hosting(100tic warserver with SourceTV support) and game hardware (mouse pads, mice, headsets). While not as critical as financial support, these are areas of that no clan can live without. We would also be hoping to seek support for upcoming LAN events, namely the Multiplay.co.uk i31 event, in the form of branded clothing or financial support. What We Offer 1) A community from which we can advertise products and services your company offers. 2) The opportunity to advertise on our website which will give your company unique access to your target consumers by using methods of adverting like fixed banners/logos. As well as the great advertising opportunities we offer with a detailed description of the services your company offers, and the unique services which your sponsorship provides us. 3) Endorsement of your products using our website, our IRC Channel and a detailed advertisement placed in our forums, as well as any other reasonable requests for advertisements from your company. 4) Promoting your company using clothing and/or products at community LAN events, and professional LAN events which cater for a large amount of your companies target consumers. 5) Reviews & Articles on hardware, software and general product information on the products and services, which your company provides. 6) Beta testing of your products with detailed feedback from our team members to aid the development of your products and services. 7) Promotion of your products and services using flyers, pamphlets, posters, stickers and any other means of advertising. We will provide a professional, well-mannered, skilled gaming team to represent your company at online gaming events, as well as UK based LAN events. Other sponsorship requirements are certainly possible based on your requirements. Our aim is to provide you with an agreement that is beneficial to your company as well as obtaining sponsorship services and/or products that are beneficial to Team eXult. Well, the application is pieced together from other sources, but we do check any potentials anyway for the source. (But yes your right)
Whomever created this one lifted a nice big section from this page: Zboard Zone [PC Gaming Evolved] RiZe Gaming RiZe Gaming in its entirety has been together since February 2002. Comprised of gamers from a multitude of games, we have always maintained a large interest from the community in the games we have been involved with as a result of our success in amateur ladders and cups. |

Seeing as I was in riZe Gaming management, who put together that paragraph, and many more like it, it would make sense that I go along those same lines again, why change things that do not need changing?
Considering I wrote every single word of that above application at one point or another, I find it rather rude to claim that I simply 'lifted' the whole thing from someone elses work, which is clearly not the case. If you would like to see the original text file, for riZe-Gaming, feel free to ask. ![]() |
