Cod2 server help :D

hey guys am trying to put a rifles only mod onto my server, but the problem is i dont know how to do it lol


ive downloaded the mod i need the iwd. file and i have my server config as well


thing I'm stuck on is how do i get other peole who cum onto my server to

download this mod and play it on their pc?

if anyone could help me i would be greatfully thankfull lol

Why doe everyone shorten "come" by using a "u" ? Dead dity, lol

Umm, I'm not sure about COD, it might be worth looking around the site that you got it from for a readme (they usually come with mod download)

I've had experience of Server Admin for COD and I think I can help you out.

I presume from your initial post that you have the right file in the right place, the config file set up correctly, and that players can see and connect to your server.

In your config file, find the entry that reads:

set sv_allowDownload "0"

and change it to:

set sv_allowDownload "1"

If the line doesn't exist then add it into the config file somewhere. This option allows the game to download any files it doesn't have before it connects.

It's also worth checking that the

set sv_maxRate ""

is set to something sensible like 20000. Typically the files will download at around 12 Kb/s, so if you have some large custom files they will take a long time to get through to players.

That should do the trick. If you want any more help just ask.
