Hello,
It's regrettable that the inevitable happened, just when we were approaching almost a year of uptime on the web server (and after assuring one client that the web server is in top condition) we experience a kernel panic that took some services down for 14 hours. Well - What a pain this was. Many of you would have been directly affected if you were hosted on the main web box and in addition every game server client (unless you managed to work out the main IP address of the GCP) would have experienced DNS issues locating the GCP. Services affected included email, teamspeak and the DNS server which caused all web sites and the game control panel (even though still accessible through Game Control Panel - Login) to become unavailable. All game servers were unaffected and many of you did carry on gaming without any hitches. When the master server went down the KVM really didn't reveal much which meant a trip to the data center (which is where I am at the moment). After many many (MANY) hours and a new rebuild of the OS the server is back up and running. I do not anticipate any further problems from this isolated incident and I apologise for whatever inconvenience you may have experienced. Because the email servers were affected, no emails sent during the outages have yet been received, however I am sure that they will slowly trickle through. Please expect a response some time over the course of today due to a severe back log (as you could expect). If you have any questions, please direct them to support. Thanks!
