Unplanned Maintenance

Hello,

I wanted to make sure everything was resolved before posting anything on this matter and fortunately it looks as though everything has been corrected.

The router we use on our network was targetted by a ICMP flood attack. If you don't know what it is you can find a description here: http://www.csie.ncu.edu.tw/~cs102085/DDoS/bruteforce/icmpflood/description.htm

Because of this we had a short period of problems with latency on the network, as the router was flooded with inbound traffic. It took about 3 hours to get everything back up to speed, but it did effect all services, web hosting, game servers and team speak, until we found the source and nulled its effect on the network.

If you are noticing any lasting affects on your server please contact support to discuss any problems, however everything is now running as per usual.

I am adding 48 hours onto all hosting accounts subscription date as a good will gesture.
