3 Year Birthday Celebrations for Invision-Gaming

I am not quite sure what determines a sites official launch date, whether it be the date of planning, the completion of the website coding, the purchase of the domain name or the first order received? Well, Invision Gaming has today on March 11th hit one of these birth dates! 

It was today exactly three years ago - and some four months after actually conceptualising the business plan that I registered the invision-gaming.co.uk domain name. It wasn't until over a month after this date that the website was made available to the general public and then four days after that when IG made it's first order! I remember this day more than any other in the lifespan of Invision Gaming... and it was this first registration which has led on to a chain of what has now become 6074 registrations.

It was mere chance that I looked at the registration information today, remembering that April is getting closer. So while this birthday celebration may not reach the wide celebrations that preparation would have achieved, I take enthusiasm from knowing that Invision Gaming has stood a test which only a handful of UK gaming hosters has accomplished. Three years may not be a milestone that would forever carve our name in the record books, but to any GSP riding the hurdles of the gaming community it is a milestone that I am proud to have against the IG name.

Site Maintenance
